_____ Oil Pressure (30-60PSI )(expect
higher)
WARM UP @1000RPM
_____ Oil Temperature (Min 100Deg)
_____ Idle RPM (600RPM)
_____ Idle Mixture cut off should increase
25-50 RPM before RPM begins to decrease
_____ Mag Sw OFF (Engine should stop-- Back
ON before engine dies)
_____ Left magneto check @1700 RPM (125RPM &
smooth)
_____ Right magneto check “ “ “
_____ Propeller control (3 cycles 1700
to1400RPM)(Watch oil press to drop & recover)
_____ Alternator output (Operate hi loads-
land light & pitot heat momentarily)
_____ Cyl head temps (All 200+ & rising)
_____ T I T Indications (normal)
FUEL SYSTEM
_____ Idle fuel pressure 7-9 psi @600RPM
(set hex head screw CW to increase).
_____ RPM 2700 MP 38” (All throttle
movements SLOW- Except Emergency)
_____ Fuel pressure 32~34 psi (turn aneroid
set screw CCW to increase-Tap to e
Tap pump housing with wood/ plastic, to
reset needle valve more pressure results in more FF- (FP
Setting is secondary to FF)
_____ Full power fuel flow (If TSIO-550-
41.7- 43.4 GPH @ 2700 RPM - 38" - RPM &ma manifold pressure
- (must be right on)
_____ Brakes Check OK
_____ Taxi tests complete. (Left & Right
turns)
_____ Fuel Valve to OFF position @ 1000RPM
(Engine Must stop in 90 Sec or less)
COOL ENGINE 4 Minutes
_____ Leak Check Engine (Visual)
